In addition, Von Roll also provides special thermal and fire resistant insulation products to the cable, electronics and other industries.
In 2008 Von Roll added another segment to its portfolio. Von Roll Transformers is a leading global manufacturer and distributor of electrical infrastructure equipment, principally transformers, for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity.
As of March 2010, Von Roll Water is the fourth business segment in the Von Roll portfolio. Von Roll Water offers solutions for almost any process engineering task in the field of water and waste water management. Its core competencies lie in process engineering and project management from consulting right through to turnkey implementation.
Von Roll established in May 2010 its Solar Center of Excellence headquartered in Tägerwilen in the canton of Thurgau, Switzerland where Von Roll develops a third-generation solar cell.
