Today, the Swiss daily “Der Bund” reports of a warranty case that is being taken against the "supplier Von Roll." However, this warranty case does not involve Von Roll Holding AG, but rather Von Roll Inova Holding AG, a company that is independent of Von Roll Holding AG.
In its report entitled “Major Warranty Case,” “Der Bund” refers to an erroneous press release from AG für Abfallwertung AVAG, a recycling company. This press release claimed that a heat exchanger at the waste incineration plant in Thun, Switzerland, had to be replaced and that the supplier Von Roll was financially liable for the costs, amounting to two million Swiss francs. A representative of AG für Abfallwertung has already acknowledged the error.
