DURATEX D consists of a special resin matrix with incorporated additives improving the sliding properties plus a reinforcement of very fine weave cotton fabric. This material allows a machining of very fine details i.e. for ball bearing cages. Round rolled tubes out of DURATEX D are able to withstand the attacks of several hundred cycles of steam sterilization and provide a machining without final acid treatment. Tubes are available with 20 mm diameter and more.
