To be compliant with the REACH legislation Von Roll has installed a special team, which includes experts from the Health, Safety and Environmental functions(HSE) from the Von Roll entities inside and outside the EU. The Corporate Coordinator of this team reports directly to the Board Member in charge at Von Roll. In this team all the activities are coordinated and monitored.

The obligations resulting from REACH have to be fulfilled by each single legal entity in each member state. All Von Roll Companies established inside the EU will carry out the necessary pre-registrations for the relevant products manufactured.
As far as Von Roll companies established outside the EU supply substances, preparations and articles into the EU, the requirements of an importer under REACH apply. The necessary pre-registrations will be carried out by a Von Roll Company specially established for this purpose with the status of an Only Representative under REACH. The customers in the EU will get the status as a downstream user without any change in the commercial and contractual relationships.
