Per­son­nel chan­ges in Exe­cu­tive Management

Au/Wädenswil, Sep­tem­ber 23, 2016 — The CEO of Von Roll Hol­ding AG, Achim Klotz, has asked the Board of Direc­tors to release him from his duties with effect from 1st Octo­ber 2016 in order to pur­sue new chal­len­ges. The Board of Direc­tors has accep­ted his request.

Achim Klotz reor­ga­nised Von Roll during dif­fi­cult times for the energy indus­try. He con­so­li­da­ted the company’s sites world­wide with great com­mit­ment and dedi­ca­tion lea­ding to a signi­fi­cant reduc­tion in costs. The Board of Direc­tors would like to thank Achim Klotz and wis­hes him the best for the future, both per­so­nally and in his pro­fes­sio­nal work.

In the con­text of the company’s reor­ga­ni­sa­tion, the Com­po­si­tes Divi­sion at Von Roll is also being rest­ruc­tu­red. The cur­rent Divi­sion Mana­ger, Dr. Bern­hard Frit­sche, wis­hes to leave the com­pany. Dr. Frit­sche has dri­ven for­ward the deve­lo­p­ment of this seg­ment, par­ti­cu­larly in the auto­mo­tive sec­tor, with great dedi­ca­tion. The Board of Direc­tors would like to thank him for the work he has accom­plis­hed and for his wil­ling­ness to remain at the dis­po­sal of the com­pany until the end of the year.

The Board of Direc­tors has elec­ted its mem­ber Dr. Chris­tian Hen­ner­kes to be a dele­gate of the Board from 1st Octo­ber 2016 and has also named him as the new CEO. Dr. Hen­ner­kes has been an exe­cu­tive mem­ber of the Board of Direc­tors at Von Roll Hol­ding AG since 13th April 2016.

Dr. oec. Hen­ner­kes (44) stu­died law and went on to gain a doc­to­rate in eco­no­mics. After com­ple­ting his stu­dies, Dr. Hen­ner­kes worked as a con­sul­tant at a lea­ding glo­bal con­sul­tancy firm. He then worked in various com­pa­nies in the con­su­mer and indus­trial goods sec­tor as a direc­tor and part­ner. Dr. Hen­ner­kes will seam­lessly con­ti­nue with the tur­naround that began under Achim Klotz. The Board of Direc­tors wis­hes him suc­cess in his new role and the best of luck.
