OUR MULTILAYER LAMINATES AND TAPES
Insulation laminates are used in a wide range of applications where they are an essential part of the insulation system. They are mainly used for slot and phase insulation in motors, generators as well as for insulation of transformers.
Our high-quality laminates are characterized by high tensile as well as dielectric strength and are suitable for use at high temperatures. They also have excellent impregnability and cost-efficiency.
Our Myoflex® and Acuflex® insulation papers are multilayer laminates. The composition is fully customizable according to customer needs and requirements.
Products and solutions
Our biplex or triplex laminates made of polyester fleece felt and polyester film are particularly suitable for heat classes 130 to 155 °C for rotating machinery and transformer applications.
The polyester felt is used to improve the thermal aging behavior of the polyester film.
Our biplex or triplex laminates of aramid paper with polyester film are particularly suitable for thermal classes 155 to 180 °C for rotating machinery and transformer applications.
The aramid paper is used to extend thermal performance up to 220 °C if required.
Our biplex or triplex laminates made of aramid paper with polyimide film are particularly suitable for heat classes 200 and 220 °C for rotating machinery and transformer applications.
Due to the high thermal stability of polyimide, these laminates are used for extreme high-temperature insulation, in some cases > 220 °C.
